Dates for the DSH (Deutsche Sprachprüfung für den Hochschulzugang)
Only international students already admitted to study at Humboldt-Universität are eligible to sit the DSH. It takes place before the start of each winter and summer semester and in coordination with the Admissions Office for International Students.
The DSH comprises a written and an oral exam, with the orals taking place about a week after the written exam. The certificate is issued immediately after the oral exam.
External candidates are admitted to the DSH only by way of exception.
